Marketer

The marketer qualification process involves completing several tasks to ensure that both regulatory and Detroit Edison requirements are met before a marketer qualifies as a participant in this program. These requirements are covered in Chapter 1 - Overview of Roles of Electric Choice Participants of the Electric Choice Supplier Handbook.

The following table contains each major qualification task (in no specific order) and the source of further information about that task. The source information will assist the user in compiling information needed throughout registration, so it is important to review the information associated with each source before starting the registration process.

Once the marketer requirements have been reviewed, begin the qualification process by registering as a marketer with Detroit Edison. The Register button below links to the Supplier Registration Form. Once this form is submitted, confirmation will be displayed on a receipt screen.

Additional information will be displayed on this receipt screen prompting the next step or steps. This sequence will continue until the Detroit Edison registration steps have been completed. Click Register to begin.
